Tietê Photo Essay
Your Task:
What is it?
When you picture the Tietê river, what do you see in your mind? What images do you want others to see? During the course of the field trip, you will become a photographer and spot important environmental and historical images of the Tietê river to display in a photo essay.
Take picture for each of the following categories:
1. A photograph that relates to the environmental state of the Tietê river
2. A photograph that relates to the history of the Tietê river
3. A photograph of your choice (This may be related to environment, history, or something interesting you want to capture on camera.)
For each picture, you will answer the following questions:
1. Where was the photograph taken?
2. What is in the photograph?
3. Why is it important?
4. What does it tell us about the environmental state or history of the Tietê river?
The photos will be posted to your blogfolio as three separate posts. The written portion for each photograph should be at least 75 words and can be written in either English or Portuguese (One post MUST be in Portuguese). Make sure to edit your work carefully before posting.
