Bud, not Buddy Response Questions Chapter 6-10

Please answer two questions by Wednesday, November 6 and a third question by Friday, November 8. Each question should be answered in its own post. Label your answers as Language Arts. Please be sure to provide supporting details from the novel as well as references to historical and cultural events that took place during the Great Depression.  Your responses should be at least four sentences long.  

1.  Describe Bud's experience at the mission and Hooverville.  Predict whether you think Bud will start to trust people more or not.

2. Bud meets many homeless people at Hooverville. Identify evidence that racism exists or doesn't exist among them.

3.  Bud says that "ideas begin like seeds."  Explain what this metaphor means and how this relates to the fact that his father might be Herman E. Calloway.
